Landing Page Feedback Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

https://industrialmana.com/

Hey everyone! The last time I got feedback here, I learned to:

  • make the copy clearer
  • clearly state the value proposition
  • minor things with the design

I implemented these in the second iteration of the landing page. What do you think?

    Cool project!

    • From just the main header, I didn't quite understand that this is for developers

    • I like the platform page a lot and you might consider just making that your homepage maybe with the carbon removal section merged into it

    • You've got two "How it Works" to explain, one for developer integration and the other for the behind the scenes stuff of sucking CO2 out of the air. If the focus is on selling the platform, I'd make the How it Works section about the developer integration. You can abstract away the details about how the CO2 is removed as something that doesn't need to be worried about. But of course have another page with the details of the machines/process if someone wants to go deeper.

    • Speaking of How it Works from a developer perspective, I don't quite get it from the platform page. It looks like I'm going to have to add a snippet to my app (likely each app I run), but then also I see CLI commands and I'm not sure how they relate. I'm also confused about how a snippet would track CO2 usage anyway and would expect you'd instead want an AWS / GCP / Azure integrations to get metrics from the infrastructure layer rather than the app layer.

    • Finally, I'd make explicit why people should do this at all. What is the benefit to them? Maybe they can add a verified carbon-neutral badge to their site/project. Maybe it'll it help with their own marketing. Maybe it's a feel-good thing for their employees - morale, taking concrete steps toward company values, etc...

I think it's a great idea and people will want to integrate this for a variety of reasons if it's easy and robust enough.

    Good luck!

I still don't understand what is it.

      • Is it a hosting service?
      • Is it a service to buy the privilege of cleaning the environment ? (basically I pay for the cleaning machines to work)
      • If the later, what that has to do with startups?

On mobile, seems like sections do not align or space out properly
