Simple and clean, I like it :D
An idea you could play around with is providing an offer of some kind to better entice visitors to give you their email. Maybe a bonus that early subscribers will get when you launch, or maybe you'll send them a small list of epic hiking destinations to give them a taste of what value the website will offer.

I like it. Maybe add some information about the creator this page on the footer to look more personal less automated.
Add technical information about the trail like distance, elevation?

The technical information will appear once the user clicks on the trail thumbnail, something I was planning to implement in my MVP. But you are right, at the moment user has no idea about this sort of functionality, maybe I need to think of a way to communicate that on the landing page. Thanks!

Personally, I'd remove the filter buttons, otherwise looks great as it is.
Hey, thank you for your suggestion. I do strongly feel that the filters will bring a lot of value to the user, therefore, I thought to display them on my LP

There are thousands and thousands of different trails, so someone who is new to the hiking/trekking world might have a hard time choosing the right trail that is: A. is right for them in terms of difficulty, duration etc., B. that is worthwhile (the average person probably goes long distance hiking once or max twice per year, so it might as well be one of the most scenic trails). Let me know if you think that answers your question.

Thank you for your feedback. To be honest, I wanted to diverge from being just a giant trail database website (I think there are plenty of those) and instead be more of a source of inspiration for the longer treks, but possibly thats very niche and there is not so much demand for it. I am going to gather more feedback and then if required will change the value prop. Thanks!
