Landing page launch. Build beautiful documentation quickly and without coding

Hey fellas,

We’re 3 techies building software we’d love to use ourselves. We’ve spend the last 6 months or so building Portal, and this landing page is our first launch (the software itself 80% ready as well, and coming soon).

Portal is a Notion-like wysiwyg editor that will let you create and publish a Stripe-style documentation website.

We’d be super grateful for any feedback about the landing page/product very much. Or if you can see yourself using Portal, we’d just looove to hear your thoughts.

Looks sweet, signed up for early access.

Very cool, love the website. I've used some tools in the past and the UX is SO pathetic it makes want to never look at it. I've even found myself procrastinating on those type of tasks that involve building, editing or creating documentation.

I had exactly the same feeling when I needed to create the docs for the company I worked for.
Everything I tried was so ugly, and we needed something that looks stunning, because we wanted to appear professional and impress our clients. Basically this is how the idea of Portal was born.

Stripe-quality docs with the features you promise sounds great.

Why not add a live demo now (even read-only) of your "exoplanet" example** ?

** or did I miss it on the landing page

Great point, we were thinking of letting the landing page visitors try the editor without signing up, and also having links to a couple of example docs.

I think it's definitely coming in the next iterations of the landing page.

Really cool! Are you planning to have integration with Postman? I would like to export my postman docs to portal, because their ux is quite ugly.

Hi, just wonder what are postman docs to be exported?

Agree that postman's UX is not the best :) We don't do API References yet, but it's in the plans. We'll probably have an integration with Swagger/OpenAPI (which you can export to from Postman).

Looks cool! Can you share a link to the site?
