Hey all, we've created a waitlist landing page for our product, fulfilled, a personal wealth & investment platform that provides 100% customized portfolio recommendations designed to achieve the goals that matter most to you!
Please ruthlessly roast our landing page! https://www.fulfilledwealth.co/
Hey @AggravatingGoose – here's some feedback!
Best of luck!
Hey @elias_stravik, really appreciate the feedback!
Some comments:
We do need to bring investments more into the focal point however "goals" are the niche we are trying to target within the investment landscape. Most larger incumbents don't combine investment advise with goal setting unless you are getting a premium service like a dedicated financial advisor and instead just focus on getting you into a product that just "invests" without guidance. That's where we want to be, not focusing directly onto the investments but rather picturing the goal itself with investments as a means to that end.
This is definitely a miss by us in the design. We are not targeting people who have not invested at all at this point as the primary rails that our application works through is the user already having a brokerage/investment account. We are targeting people a notch or two up the ladder who have invested but are underwhelmed by the results and do not have a concrete plan in place. There is a lot of legal gray area here as we are customizing portfolios based on unique factors such as risk & achievement certainty so it is very difficult to display our "performance" with back-dated returns.
Social proof is definitely important here. Our app is proceeding towards it's first alpha roll out in a few months so we will seek those reviews early and as quick as possible. We're trying to build that waitlist and curate those first 25-100 users right now with this landing page.
Sounds great! Wish you all the best – let me know if you'd be interested in more feedback anytime! :)
Most of the copy is about "you" and "your goals", but the main title most emphasized part is "with ease"? with ease I lay on the sofa and don't think about these things.
Who is the target customer? Exactly. What level of knowledge and/or experience does he have with financial services?
Feels like your trying to market to everyone and it would hit no one at the end.
Do you know how to legally structure this and what you are allowed and not allowed? What's the safety of my investment? What's the financial institution and account / how do I know I'm safe from you being a scammer? Stuff like fdic insured, where it's held in trust...
Hey thanks for the response, really valuable feedback!
At this time we're targeting investors that have an understanding of the fundamental concepts of investing as a retail investor but are looking for a concrete plan to actually achieve their goals. Not complete beginners but also not sophisticated investors at this time. We are not competing on alpha (pure returns) here and instead are providing an investment plan to achieve set goals in a set timeline of your choosing.
As per legal, yes we have all of the regulatory aspects under process review and are in the late stages of the compliance procedures that we would need to offer this as a Registered Investment Advisor (advise only) in the USA and every state. We haven't put the legal disclaimers on the site as of yet because we have not gotten our final licensing approval and gotten the legal copy run through our lawyers.
There is no requirements of FDIC as that applies to depository accounts and investments would fall under SIPC if we were to have custody of the assets ourselves, which we do not at this time.
In this case, Fulfilled connects via API to your existing brokerage accounts, aggregating the data and provides & tracks these recommendations based on your existing accounts. This means we provide you with the model of what to buy and which account to optimally purchase it in. Later on, we will automate this even further and be able to trade remotely in those accounts as well.
"Fulfilled connects via API to your existing brokerage accounts, aggregating the data and provides & tracks these recommendations based on your existing accounts."
Was this on the page? Do you list what you would work with?
What would be you income/cost structure to the user?
I'm asking not for myself but to help you clarify the page
The only place it's really on the page would be in the third section where we say:
Transfer money? No need!
With Fulfilled, you can keep your money where it is - trade wherever you like! We keep investing easy for you.
But you are right even for a pre-launch page this is too ambiguous. It was our plan to add the providers we have access to as well closer to launch because we didn't want someone to see their brokerage not listed and lose interest in the product. In reality we should just be maintaining and expanding this list.
We're going to be subscription based, should be included in that same section as well at a minimum.
A few quick thoughts:
Consider changing the font color for "Fulfilled" (or insert your logo here) in your header, in order to signal we're talking about your company name. My eyes went straight for the sentences and it just felt like confusing syntax - I didn't register "Fulfilled" was a noun.
Are "ingredients" common jargon for this space? If not, I'd reconsider using something more accurate.
this is good, its so low on the page :( "The first wealth platform designed from the goal up." At this line, I finally feel oriented.
You mention this isn't for total beginners - the font and design (which admittedly I'm not an expert on, I'm a copywriter) looks quite beginner friendly. And not "luxury"
Really appreciate the feedback!
