Hey! First of all, congrats on shipping.

Here's the stuff that comes to my mind:

    • There's too much text above the fold. I'd try to add some more "graphic" stuff, more colored boxes, etc.
    • The "demo" in the hero is cool, I like that you can edit the survey on the fly. But again, I find it too similar visually to the rest of the page, plus there's no indication of it being a demo, or even being interactive, so I worry visitors might miss it.
    • Layout is breaking on 768px.
    • Your secondary titles are "too bold" in their font style.
    • Emojis used in the 4 "benefits" sections are too big, plus I really wouldn't use emojis there.
    • Screenshots have same colors and typography than the rest of the page, so they only add to the confusion.
    • I'd invest a bit more in personalising the design, it screams Tailwind quite badly.

That's it. If you'd like to take your revenge, please do so at https://drafted.sh

      Ok, drafted.sh.

      Here are my thoughts:

      • There is no visualization provided above the fold - I purposefully viewed your landing on macbook pro 13 inch screen and did not see anything that will help me visualize what the experience / end result will be like if I were to use your service.
      • "Hire better talent, faster" it seems "Hire better talent" should be the same meaining but they are not the same color, which is confusing to me in the beginning and increased my mental load for understanding it.
      • Plus, it just seems a little bit too broad for me and not speaking to any particular pain point, since what does "better" mean, do I have not-so-good talent right now? or is the point really about save X time managing the hiring process so I can get back to the real work?
      • (Here I'm assuming you're selling to the founders, but you could be selling to the HR manager, who will have different pain points and needs than a founder would. I suggest making it more clear who it is you are targeting)
      • Your subtitle "Our AI tools make hiring easy" didn't resonate with me. What makes hiring hard for me in the first place? I believe it is hard, mostly because it takes a lot of time and energy and there's risk involved if I don't hire the right person. But this general statement doesn't click with me enough.
      • AI is too over-used, so in your case I think you should explain specifically what kind of AI for what kind of tasks will you automate and focus on the now vs. using us, how much time / money you save, what is the ROI, etc.
      • The AI generated text view seems cool. At first glance though, I didn't realize this is a sample job description generated by AI. I thought it was you speaking to the audience using a special format. maybe have a dedicated demo page? https://plausible.io they do a good job of this
      • The landing page is missing enough information about what it does / how it works, so I cannot make a decision as to if I want to start a free trial by putting in my credit card with you and risk being charged over 900 USD if I forgot to cancel. That's too high a cost just for trying your service. Trying should be easy and leads to immediate realization of the value, ideally.
      • I registered for the free trial. Again I couldn't see the dashboard without putting in my CC first with stripe checkout. Why not let user see the generation tool, agree it's cool, then show a paywall / watermark or usage limit until they give you their CC?
      • The stripe checkout color is dark purple, which is kinda your theme color but because yours was so colorful and the main website is a light mode, that stripe checkout actually threw me off a bit. (but this is something minor, wouldn't affect conversion THAT much)

Ok, that's all for now. I hope my feedback would be useful to you. Love what you're doing - keep it up man!

        Awesome feedback, thanks Kai!

@davguij Thanks for the roast! I love that you noticed a lot of things in the details. All valid points and we do get that demo was not obvious point a lot. That emoji usage point is also valid - probably not a great place for those, I need better graphics.

I will return the favor now...

Cool only thing I didnt understand was:

    • 50 live microsurveys

    What are microsurveys?

    1. 1

Thanks for pointing this out πŸ™ Anything else you noticed / would suggest some more thoughts on?

    2. 1

Aha, great question! A microsurvey is basically a short-form survey, usually displayed in a tiny window, only a few questions. It does not take away the attention of the user from the actual app itself, and is meant for quick and easy answers. It is basically the type of survey that 1Flow enables folks to have in their websites or apps.

I should definitely clear up the definition and avoid mixing this term with "survey". Maybe I'll just stick to "survey" for now.
