The landing page looks already pretty cool. I would recommend you to change the font on the buttons, which looks a bit weird. And maybe increase the visibility for the footer's text.

I like the initial landing page better than the page after clicking the sign up button. I was not expecting another page to load with a pop-up in the middle of it.

Awesome! I was expecting either (a) a pop up to sign up or (b) a new page to load to input sign up info, not both. The movement of a new page loading with the simultaneous pop up kinda threw me off.
It’s kind of like turning a key in a car’s ignition and having the car start to move forward at the same time.
