A couple of days ago we shared feedback about each other's landing page. Here's my update that I have done this morning while experimenting with Carrd.
Any feedback is welcome. This is the free version of Carrd (Which is rather limiting). I'm using it to display the project not to collect emails.
Not related to your page, but to your product: do you think that the coffee discounts are enough to make users accurately fill the surveys? There are tons of other survey websites where you get money directly for filling out survey. Why would a user want to fill a survey for a discount to a random coffee shop?
You can't make people accurately complete surveys. Surveybean increases response rates.
The studies prove incentives improve response rates, I've focused those incentives on local coffee stores and cafes. To answer your question people want discounts.
Changed the copy...
"Incentivize your Surveys with Discounts at Local Coffee Store & Cafes" - I'm speaking directly to founders, they are my customers. A company like Swagbucks UK market directly to discount consumers..."Get Free Gift Cards & Cash for the everyday things you do online".
I understand better now. I think the niche choice is very small, and there's really no point to niche down on "rewards". It's not like you are nicheing down on your customers, you are just leaving potential survey fillers out. Why me, as a founder, would prefer to only target customers that go to coffee shops? I probably care more about having a wide range a people that can fill surveys, so I get more and better responses.
I am not sure about the survey space, but I think it would be a lot more interesting for all parties if the users could get more discounts, or more rewards, not only specific local coffee stores. I understand that this might make it easier to get clients to fill the forms, especially if you can make deals with the coffee stores, but as a customer I don't see directly the value (at least from the current landing page) of targeting only this specific niche.
If you want to stay only in this niche, I would change the copy to clearly state the advantages of going for coffee shops, and maybe tell a story with it. Like, imagine most of the people completing their surveys are currently relaxing and drinking a coffe that they would get a discount for thanks to you.
Instead of
I would try something like:
This makes it clear that:
Now that I think I understoond more your idea, I think it's pretty nice, but from the landing page it was impossible to understand why it is a good idea.
Business model:
Thanks for the feedback.
Also, I am not sure from the video or copy if the founders are the ones who fill the survey or there are other users who will fill the survey.
This is really confusing, I don't know what relation is between coffee stores, founders, market search and surveys.
The current copy:
Dear Founders
Do you have an idea?
Before you buy a domain or set up a website.
You’ll do a market research survey using a tool like Google forms or Typeform.
Problem is, nobody will complete it.
Why? You have to give a little to get a little.
That’s why we give your potential customers discounts at local coffee shops for every survey they complete.
And guess what, the first 5 is on us!

And for "first 5 is on us", first 5 what? Unique customers? Forms? Discounts? Survey completions?
Thank you. I'll align it with other feedback
Thank you for your feedback
