Landing page Vol.2
Hello again Hackers,
This is the second post I have made about our landing page, since we updated it we would love to get some feedback on the following questions :
• After looking the whole landing page Do you understand the main concept of our site?
• Would you use it?
• Any suggestions?

Hey Periclis, overall idea is cool!
The one thing that confused me was the two buttons at the bottom. I didn't immediately realize the "sounds good" button would take me to the next page.
Maybe edit the copy to say "next" and get rid of the "sign up" button. Basically let them walkthrough and explore the app, and then show a popup asking for a signup

I understand. Maybe it's because I've been a community builder for many years. However, might be hard for normal visitors
• Would you use it?
The "Next" button isn't very clear to me. I spent a while until I know the social / forum feature exists. Maybe not now, because I can't find the content I like.
• Any suggestions?
Show the product earlier.

What do you mean by show the product earlier ? And do you have any suggestions ?
Also i understand that it still needs a lot of content for a variety of subjects but we believe that this well eventually happen as the platform grows.
Finally I checked your project and I think that it is really good idea and helpful for startups. I would like to learn more about it.

• Would you use it? No. My answer is misleading, as I'm not your desired audience. May seem silly, but copy how this guy writes headlines and you'll set up for success: https://www.youtube.com/user/MrBeast6000

Use a lander layout you know works. Mirror your competitors and emulate what they use as an opt-in. Copy the language they're using.
I like the detail of the demo, however, drive the user to a high-value feature or give a reason of why you're showing this particular demo - set expectations and fulfill.

As you understand we are still in the alpha phase so there's plenty room for further development.
UI looks great, although I didn't immediately realize that "sounds good" was a button that would take me to further explanation of the product. I would maybe lean more toward an arrow or something next to the image, in a "carousel" type model which people are used to. I also wasn't able to go back to the last image, or wasn't immediately sure how, which would have helped me understand the full product after seeing all the different features.
It wasn't until I clicked past to "explore" that I realized this wasn't a social media management app designed to help you post to and manage different sites like reddit, fb, twitter, etc.
Now that I'm in the explore section, I also don't seem to be able to go back to the original landing page even after refreshing, which seems like an issue.
Overall great stuff though.

As far as the "sounds good" we will change it to " next" in order to be more understandable to users.
Once you finish the 3 slides the only way to go back to the start again is to refresh the page, or reopen it from another browser. I think we will consider making it accessible at any time if the user wants to go back it.

Refreshing definitely doesn't work. You're probably storing state in local storage or something? Not sure if it's a bug or a feature.
