Laravel Spark without Spark

Hi All

I'm new here and have seen some discussions about Laravel Spark, which is amazing by the way until your project needs customisation that moves away from Spark.

I came across the following article, which shows how to essentially get a Spark setup without having the use Laravel Spark: https://dev.to/cearls/laravel-jetstream-subscription-billing-with-stripe-checkout-and-customer-portal-3hkg

It's combination of Jetstream and Cashier so you'll left with more less Spark but hopefully much easier to customise.

I'll be giving it a go tomorrow but thought I'd mention it here as I've been debating whether to go down the Spark route or not (as my project will involve me having to do some tweaks that I don't fancy doing within Spark).

Hopefully this helps some of you who are looking to build a SaaS site with Laravel but need functionality outside of Spark's existing scope.
