Launch Day: $25 MRR, 5 signups

Well, launch day was a bit of a rollercoaster. It started pretty slow, maybe one or two people per hour would come visit my site. However, it started to pick up later in the afternoon when I accidentally self-promoted on reddit, making a bunch of people really angry in the process. But hey, there is no such thing as bad publicity...And then the day culminated in the best way possible - I got my first sale!

Here's the breakdown of the stats:

  • 52 site visits according to Google Analytics
  • 5 sign ups
  • 1 conversion -> $25 MRR
on February 16, 2021

    Congrats!
    I'm playing around with the product too and it looks great!

    Curious how did you "accidentally self-promoted on reddit" if you want to share..?

      I believe that my customers are SMBs and entrepreneurs. So I thought I would go find groups of people that meet that criteria. Found two subreddits that do and just posted about my product. Little did I know that you are not allowed to self-promote...

    👏 Well done on your launch!
    I am wondering, how could you make some people angry in the process? :)
    And what did you do to launch your project?

      I self-promoted, which is not allowed... And people got mad that I wasn't following the rules.
