Launch Gone Bad: Product Hunt isn't showing my Product

Hey Indie Hackers!

I've been working on my new product for the last few weeks and I'm excited to launch it today.

But Product Hunt won't feature it! Meaning only people with the link to the launch can see it.
Obviously that means it's extremely difficult to get any upvotes and any visitors to the product - it basically makes Product Hunt useless!

I read about this a few days ago from fellow maker Fekri on X:

He was in the same situation and I could really feel his pain!

The reason Product Hunt isn't showing the launch is that there is no guarantee to show new launches for accounts that launch multiple products within half a year.
This policy was introduced based on feedback from the PH community.

That's fair enough - I just wish PH was more transparent about it before launching, since a great deal of effort goes into preparing a great launch, just for it to not show up on the leaderboard!

Anyway, enough of the venting. I just wanted to share this risk associated with PH launches while I'm trying to salvage my launch by posting on other places, like Reddit.
