Launch IH: Deta Base, the database for side projects

I’m Max, working with a small team in Berlin, and I’m extremely excited to announce the launch of Deta Base to Indie Hackers (in the case you haven’t seen us on Product Hunt).

Here’s my teammates and my thinking behind Deta and Base:

We think the cloud is amazing, but also a complicated mess. For getting a (small) idea out quickly, I shouldn't spend time fighting with servers, YAML files, etc.

Deta wants to make the cloud a lot easier to use while keeping its good parts – like raw performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

Deta Base is our first step at doing something about this. With Base, not only can you get started within a few seconds, but you still get the features you’d get from a “big cloud”: blazing fast read/writes, high scalability, security, backups, and support for complex queries.

• Native libraries in Node.js & Python as well as an HTTP API
