Could you share your experience in using webflow? Why you chose it over other tools like wordpress, etc? Thanks!
Hi Damon, I've been having issues with wp lately of slowing down. So I wanted to try something different and so far it's been good. I've also used Bubble in the past to build a more dynamic site -> socrt.com
I think it's a good idea.
At coworking spaces you meet many people but very few founders so interests are not aligned and they most likely want to try to sell your their service - PR, legal, accounting etc...
I went through YC Startupschool and they had weekly video group sessions with other founders. This sounds similar but on a more informal basis. I thought those sessions were good because it was more like group support with others who are in the same boat as you.
IH is also very similar but more offline in that you can post and get support.
I think one of the main things you say about being alone is more difficult to address. If others are not in your company you don't have mission alignment. You have professional alignment - ie we're founders - but not alignment that we need to work together and I see you everyday at a office.
So I'm not sure the being alone part is doable without this type of alignment... But going to test it like you're doing is the only real way to find out :)
Hey John, thanks for responding. Yes you're right. There's a balance of inperson and virtual but it's built on the right community. By allowing people their choice of workplace while still maintaining a quality community (without being salesy), this brings out the best of both worlds.
I also found the YC Startupschool sessions helpful and that's the idea more developed.
Out of curiosity, who else do you think would find this helpful?
One place that I think would help would be jobseekers.
I think that's mainly a lonely quest... but I suspect there are many support groups online and offline that exist already...
Back to YC I think the incentive of the certificate and potential for their money makes people align for their activities. If there isn't incentive alignment I think it becomes difficult.
The reality I think is that there are certain endeavors that are more lonely than others. Should it be fixed? Is there enough pain there that it needs to be addressed? I'm not sure... but I'm sure you'll find out with the data you're collecting :)
That's a good observation. Incentives do need to be aligned and that's what I'm trying to group people into. Hoping to share more good results! :)

Hey Alex, thanks for responding. Yes it takes some time the main reason is to make sure that there's a high quality of applications. People who are committed and want to be part of a club like this. :)
