Launch on Product Hunt? Question
Going to be launching our SaaS on product hunt in about 2 months. What are some things that would help get tracking and help with getting upvotes on launch day?
We are launching our product Tully which is an AI powered chatbot designed specifically to help with mental health.
Just launch on Product Hunt today. Something I would have liked to do is schedule the launch in advance(can be up to a month ahead). This way you can build hype toward your product.
Also, create your personal Product Hunt account today. There is a week's wait before being able to hunt(submit) a product to the platform.

Prepare greatly for the launch. It has to be impactful, something that would make the readers either curious or interested. Also specify your target users, this would generate more attention :)) goodluck!
Quick question how do you specify your target users on product hunt? Or do you mean just know your target users beforehand?
I would look at previous product launch successes in your niche and see who left comments on those and upvotes on PH. From their prior launches and likes you can tell if they would have the likelihood of testing your product.
From there, give them a follow, upvote their products if any, leave a comment, but a meaningful and engaging one, find them on social media or even here in IH community and create a meaningful relationship with 50-100 of such creators.
Consider to then also pitch your idea to top hunters and see if any would be supportive towards the product and perhaps even hunt it, like some folks do with Chris Messina (myself including back in 2018).
Finally, PH also has a hotstreak leader board allowing you to see who are the most active users, find a common ground to engage with them and you should have jo issues come launch day. Do consider building a wait list until then to gauge interest and prime your audience.
But make sure that you use all of these next 2 months giving people, and you shall receive back if you do it in a meaningful way. I would say spending 4-5h day in engaging with 100 people max in a deep and analytical manner should get you really far, but a fair warning, it is energy draining and at times you give so much but do not get a reply. But just 1 right connection can make all the difference, so it pays off if done the right way.
