Launch strategy for small product

Hey guys!

I'm new to the community working on launching something for the first time. I'm currently developing an extremely simple chrome extension that solves a small niche.

So far I've only validated this idea with a large group of acquaintances and am very close to an MVP.

I figured that a landing page for such a simple product wouldn't generate too many emails so I stuck to my group of friends for now... where should I go from here?

I plan to launch a landing page very soon.

1 way to do it, just my 2 cents:
1.) figure out if goal is to validate intensity of problem, excitement for solution, or product/solution fit - b/c it will be different content, questions and metrics to track
2.) if friends and friends of friends aren't enough then you could could outreach on Twitter, LinkedIn, post on Indie Hacker, Product Hunter etc
3.) Once you pass the problem solution fit, next step is figuring out what's the right assumptions to sell this solution profitability so pricing, positioning, sales channels, marketing collateral - also figure out if this is even a worthwhile project

Hm, have you though about launching a Reddit marketing strategy ?
You said that your target is some niche market.
Where's better place to find your niche (subreddit) than on Reddit? :)

Explore, analyze, and be really careful!
Reddit users hate self-promotion in general, but if you offer them something useful or something that could change/improve their life/everyday, you'll definitely get a good review and feedback!

I really believe in utilizing Reddit, as a marketing channel, especially for a idea validation or solving small niches' problems!
    Good luck!

I thought the thing with extensions was to be listed https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/todoist-for-chrome/jldhpllghnbhlbpcmnajkpdmadaolakh?hl=en - is that what you mean by landing page?

Nope! I meant a landing page the same way that todoist has one: https://todoist.com/

Just to give information about the extension. Getclockwise.com is similar

By all means copy Getclockwise but don't invest too much time. The whole point for that page is the "Used and loved by teams at". Uclusion is trying to achieve a section like that right now also. Until you have that section your landing page won't really do much for you.
