Launched 2 products in 2 weeks!

In a goal to learn how to launch products (I'm a beginner at this stuff) I have launched 2 products in the past 2 weeks. Last week I launched a little fortune cookie email list that did way better than I expected. I was stoked!

For this week I wanted to try creating something that I could monetize. I had heard of people selling Notion templates and considering I have been using Notion for awhile I thought it was the perfect place for me to start.

Over the past week I worked on developing a personal CRM type Notion template that allows you to grow your relationships. I launched on gumroad where you can find the template here. I also launched on Product Hunt today and learned a valuable lesson.

People don't tend to go crazy on Product Hunt over payment required products (unless there's immense value obviously). Although maybe that was just for this product. What do you all think? Going forward should I focus on building things with at least somewhat of a free option because it allows for the product to gain more momentum?

Overall, even though my second Product Hunt launch was basically a failure compared to my first (2 upvotes vs 50) I learned a lot of valuable things. I know this indie hacking lifestyle is a long game so I am just excited to be sticking to my goals and launching products.
