Launched 3 apps on a weekend and this what I learned.

I've set a challenge to myself to build 3 apps on a weekend, not to show off myself, but cuz I really struggle for years to build simple solutions and ship fast.

And I made it.

I'll save you time and go straight to the point, that's what I learned:

  • Don't build fancy things from beginning. It can be simple and useful for a small group of people/niche with a particular/peculiar needs.
  • App my apps value proposition do one thing at least good enough. I can improve committing in an ongoing/long term project.
  • Don't let the special cases/rare bugs scare from ship/launch fast.
  • Always will have naysayers, those who will criticize you for any reason just cuz they dislike.
  • Don't take positive/negative feedback to the heart. Any feedback is a good feedback since it makes sense.
  • Don't be afraid to test things. Have no brand, no revenue, no customer/users so why be afraid? it has nothing to lose.
  • Monetize since beginning like freemium. Let the users try but don't be afraid to charge them.

Those are the key points I've learned quickly from a "weekend launching" building those apps. If you're curious, those are the apps
