We build UGC Agent, an AI agent that finds UGC creators on Instagram and TikTok for brands. The question we got most after people found creators was "what do I send them to sign?" So we built a free contract generator.
You fill in 10 fields (deliverables, usage rights, term, exclusivity, payment, revisions, deadline, raw footage) and it renders a full 11-clause UGC contract that updates live as you change the terms. Copy it, download it as Word, or print it. There is a short guide under it explaining what each clause means for a UGC deal.
No signup, no ads, no email gate: https://ugcagent.app/tools/ugc-contract-template/
It is hand-built and deterministic, no AI in the tool itself. Two things I would love feedback on: are 3/6/12 months and perpetual the right usage-term defaults, and is there a clause you always add to creator contracts that we are missing?
This is a smart free tool because it sits right after creator discovery, where the brand already has intent.
On usage terms, 3/6/12 months plus perpetual feels right as defaults, but I’d make “perpetual” feel like an explicit serious choice, not just another dropdown option. That one can change pricing and creator expectations quite a bit.
One clause I’d check carefully is whitelisting or paid ad usage: whether the brand can run the creator’s content from the creator’s handle, for which platforms, for how long, and whether extra spend or extension fees apply. That’s usually where simple UGC deals can get messy later.
The repeated “what do I send them to sign?” question is a useful signal. Are brands using the generator as part of an actual creator deal, or mostly browsing it for ideas?
