I set out a goal near the start of lockdown to try to get another SaaS app up and running to pass the time.
Around 40 days later of coding I have finally launched space.bio 🚀
Yet another link in bio tool you may ask? Well, I've gone for a different approach by offering 27+ blocks to choose from. These vary from simple links to WordPress blog feeds, YouTube videos, Mailchimp newsletters, contact forms, Spotify save/follow, restaurant booking with Resdiary and much more.
The product is designed for folk that maybe don't need or want a full-sized website and push something quickly to their followers on social media.
Businesses can take advantage of Space too by displaying their top services/case studies all in a single view. I've even added contact form support and ability to call directly.
If anyone has any thoughts on the landing page that would be great. Is it clear enough? I wanted to keep things simple and show off a few examples straight away.
Here are some example Spaces:
Elon - https://space.bio/elonmusk
Influencer/Bloggers - https://space.bio/zoesugg
Musicians - https://space.bio/ionsespace
Fashion/eCommerce - https://space.bio/topfashion/
Business - https://space.bio/lineone
Restaurant - https://space.bio/angelino
You got a nice domain!
Well done. It seems like a challenger of Linktree. Would be awesome to see you thrive.
ALl the best!
Thanks Felix! I know, was surprised it wasn't taken for a premium domain! The goal is to try to provide deeper integrations such as the Spotify Follow/Save feature.
Thank you 🤜
Looks awesome!! Gonna give it a go. One thing that really caught my eye was your logo is very similar to the Ionic Framework https://ionicframework.com/ but other than that, well done, love the landing page and the idea!
Thanks Alan! Ha, you know I didn't even realise that it looks similar to Ionic 😱 seen them before but wasn't intended lol. It'll be fine for now, maybe I'll draw up something else in the future. Let me know how you get on!
Love the examples; this looks great
Thanks Chris! Need to get back to marketing this one. Focussing all my efforts on Astrola at the moment!
I love prducts like Astrola that are combining multiple tools in one. This would be complimentary to something outseta.com (which I recently discovered).
Yes, it was a sore point building previous SaaS apps, so decided to combine them all into a single app. Seen Outseta a few months ago, thanks for sharing again. One thing that's going to be difficult is marketing it as a whole, rather than individual features. Outseta do it pretty well!
What do you think about positioning to target startups following the product-led growth strategy? (https://productled.com/product-led-growth-definition)
I will take a read through this! Thanks for the resources, much appreciated.
What does an SaaS app do?
Not sure what you mean? A SaaS app stands for "Software as a Service" -- Usually means subscription-based services such as Netflix etc.
