Launched: AllPaymentGateways.com – Compare payment providers with ease!

Hey everyone! 👋

Just launched allpaymentgateways.com - a directory to help founders compare payment gateways without jumping between 20 different websites.

What it does:
Simple comparison tool for payment gateways, showing:

  • Features and available pricing

  • Supported payment methods

  • Country coverage

  • Currently focused on US/EU/UK markets

Tech stack:

  • Built with Windsurf (absolutely loving how fast it makes development)

  • Used V0 for initial UI components - perfect for getting an MVP out quickly

  • Supabase for data storage and auth

Interesting challenges:

  • Data collection was (and is) the biggest challenge. Payment gateways scatter their information across multiple pages and documentation

  • Started with manual data collection to validate the idea

  • Working on automation, but it's tricky since there's no standard way gateways present their information

  • A LOT of pricing info is impossible to get without NDAs, so we're focusing on what's publicly available

Next steps:

  • Automating data collection where possible

  • Adding more gateways based on user feedback

  • Improving comparison features

Would love to hear thoughts from fellow makers, especially:

  • Anyone tried Windsurf for similar projects?

  • Ideas for efficient data collection/automation?

  • What other features would make this more useful?

The project is live at allpaymentgateways.com if you want to check it out.

This is great! However how do you plan to market it?

Hi Daniela, thanks for the feedback! I'm still exploring different approaches, but potential monetization strategies include affiliate partnerships, premium listings for payment providers, and a pro membership for users offering advanced comparison features. I'm open to suggestions if you have any insights!

Hey , those are great monetization strategies! Affiliate partnerships and premium listings are solid approaches for generating revenue while keeping the user experience valuable.

For the pro membership, you could consider offering exclusive content, personalized recommendations, or additional resources to make the upgrade seem more desirable

Another idea could be Nigerian marketing agencies can be a great option to target the US/EU and UK markets, they're very startup-friendly and affordable, and I've had a great experience working with them. Let me know if you'd like recommendations! I'm happy to help with any insights on getting the word out!

Hi, a useful tool! Nice work. And cool that you leveraged these AI tools so well. Hope you can also find something that makes the data collection less tedious :)

I noticed that website doesn't show a comparison without signing up first. Something that could be attractive to potential users -- at least for me this is the case -- is to demo a comparison without an account. Otherwise you don't know what your signing up for.

Furthermore. Signup did not work because the Supabase link from the email points to l o c a l h o s t

    l o c a l h o s t : 3000 / auth / confirm?token_hash=pkce_a57b845240d468XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX8d33afb961b6e8665e&type=signup

Congrats on your launch and success with your journey. Fred

Hey Fred, thanks a lot for your feedback and for testing it out! 🚀

I totally get your point about needing a preview before signing up—that's something I’m actively considering to improve the user experience. A demo comparison could definitely help new users understand the value upfront.

Regarding the signup issue, that’s now fixed! ✅ The Supabase email link was mistakenly pointing to localhot, but it should work correctly now. Please give it another try, and let me know if you run into any issues.

I love the App! Already tested, great idea! First thing that popped into my eye - that I am missing any (bold, highlight) text which on is actually better for each payment method. I am also interested how do you want to monetize it in the future?
Overall great work! Happy that I could test it.

Thanks so much for testing it and for your feedback! 🙌 Glad you found it useful!

That’s a great point about highlighting which payment method is better—I’ll look into ways to make key differences stand out more clearly.

As for monetization, I’m still exploring options, but affiliate partnerships and premium listings for payment providers are on the radar. The main goal right now is to make it as valuable as possible for founders!
