Launched an AI Fitness Trainer that Tracks Pushups Automatically (No Sensors / No Apple Watch)

Hey IH 👋

I've been working on a computer-vision-based fitness trainer that counts pushups in real time using just your phone/laptop camera — no wearables or extra hardware needed.

Why I built it:
I personally found it hard to track form + reps consistently. Most solutions require Apple Watch or expensive hardware. I wanted something simple and accessible.

What’s inside:

  • Real-time body pose detection
  • Pushup counter
  • Form & repetition feedback
  • Works on any webcam
  • Web-app interface (no install required)

Tech stack:
Python, OpenCV, MediaPipe, Streamlit

Here’s a short demo GIF:
(we will upload demo gif from your GitHub / or I’ll make one for you if needed)

Next steps:
I’m considering either:
• Selling it to a fitness startup
• Turning it into a SaaS subscription
• Partnering with someone to scale into a full smart trainer platform

I’d love feedback from the community:
→ Should I sell it?
→ Or build it bigger?

Thanks 💛
