Launched DirectorAlerts on PH, got 0 votes. Help me!
Launched Director Alerts (get an email when your favorite director releases a new movie) on PH this morning. Was expecting something, but have gotten 0 votes, 0 comments, 0 clicks!!! Could you guys please help me out and give me an upvote, it would really make my day :)

Hey, thanks for signing up! The email alert will arrive in your inbox when the movie is actually released, not when shooting starts. :)
@sam would love to have similar thing for actors/actresses as well.
some of whom i will subscribe are michael pena,david spade,hanks and what not.
I thought the same thing and will probably build out a seperate site for actor alerts, if director alerts is successful!
Just make a site called media alerts with all this. You could even make a curated newsletter about movie/TV/media news.
That's cool that you want your product to be seen, but you should at least inform people in this post of why they should upvote it.
You can't just go around saying "give me an upvote". Then they don't mean anything really.

I was kinda hoping it was obvious why other indie hackers would want to upvote it, simply because we're all indie hackers trying to succeed, and we all have the ability to help each other with a single click of the upvote button :)
