Launched FoundersDeck: EU-hosted monitoring for founders who care about data residency

Hey Indie Hackers,

I launched FoundersDeck 12 days ago — an EU-hosted reliability

toolkit (uptime + heartbeat/cron + status pages). 1 free user,

0 MRR so far. Here's the story and where I'm stuck.

THE PROBLEM

As an EU-based founder, every monitoring tool I looked at had

at least one of these issues:

- US-hosted, which means GDPR complications and CLOUD Act exposure

for my customers' data

- Enterprise pricing (Pingdom starts at $15/month, no free tier)

- No heartbeat/cron monitoring (UptimeRobot and BetterStack have it,

but most tools don't)

- Status pages that require cookie banners because the tool itself

loads third-party analytics

I wanted one tool that covered all three reliability basics

(uptime, cron monitoring, status pages) without any of those issues.

THE STACK

- Frontend: SvelteKit 5 + Tailwind 4

- Backend: Node.js + PostgreSQL

- Hosted on Netcup (Nuremberg, Germany)

- Payments: Polar.sh (Merchant of Record)

- Email: Scaleway TEM

Bootstrapped, solo, side project while working full-time as a dev lead.

WHAT I'VE SHIPPED

- HTTP/ping/keyword monitoring

- Heartbeat monitoring for cron jobs and background workers

- Public status pages (cookie-free by design, no third-party

scripts)

- Incident classification (SSL vs DNS vs timeout vs HTTP error)

- Email, Slack, Discord, webhook alerts

- Free tier: 5 monitors, 5-minute intervals

THE NUMBERS AFTER 12 DAYS

- 2 user

- 0 paying customers

- SEO: ~400 impressions on "best gdpr-compliant monitoring

tools 2026" (position 6-7), first organic click yesterday

- Traffic sources: Google mostly, some Reddit, some directory

listings (TrustMRR, Uneed)

WHERE I'M STUCK

Converting impressions to clicks. I have solid SEO traction

for high-intent keywords like "gdpr uptime monitoring" and

"eu hosted monitoring", but visitors aren't clicking through

from search results. Working on title tag and meta description

optimization this week.

Would love feedback on the landing page and positioning:

Happy to answer questions about EU-hosted stack, GDPR/CLOUD

Act implications, or why I think status pages shouldn't require cookie banners.

Hey — FoundersDeck looks solid, especially the EU-hosted angle.

You already have some visibility coming in, so it seems more like a distribution + conversion challenge now.

I work with early SaaS tools on improving how they reach and convert relevant users from search and communities.

If you want, I can give a few quick ideas that might help with early traction.
