🚀 Launched: Free AI Tools for Small Businesses

Hey Indie Hackers! 👋

I just launched Free AI Tools Australia after seeing small business owners struggle with content creation.

The Problem I'm Solving:

Small businesses waste 10+ hours/week writing content or pay $500+/month for writers they can't afford. Most AI tools are either expensive ($50-200/month) or too complex.

What I Built:

3 integrated AI tools that work together:

✅ AI Content Writer

- Generates blogs, emails, ads, product descriptions

- 7 content types, 6 tones (professional, friendly, casual, etc.)

- Real-time generation in 10 seconds

✅ AI Social Media Manager

- Creates platform-optimized posts for Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram

- Each platform gets unique, tailored content

- Character count validation

- One-click from Content Writer integration

✅ AI Personal Assistant

- Schedule and organize content

- View all posts in one place

- Copy individual or all posts

- Calendar integration

The Tech Stack:

- Frontend: Pure HTML/CSS/JS (no frameworks - kept it simple!)

- Backend: Node.js on cPanel

- AI: ChatGPT-4o-mini API

- Cost per workflow: ~$0.02

- Monthly hosting: $3

Why Free?

I want to prove AI tools can be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford expensive subscriptions. If it helps people, monetization can come later through premium features.

Current Status:

- ✅ Fully functional

- ✅ Responsive (works on all devices)

- ✅ Complete user manual

- ✅ Zero bugs (so far!)

- 🎯 Looking for beta testers

What I Learned:

- You don't need fancy frameworks to build something useful

- ChatGPT API is incredibly cost-effective

- Small businesses REALLY need affordable tools

- localStorage > URL parameters (learned this the hard way!)
