Launched: Germany's transparent database for graduate schemes
Today I'm launching Trainee Insider: a free and transparent database for graduate schemes in Germany.
As a first-gen student, I spent months trying to find clear data about graduate schemes, e.g. salaries, application deadlines and program structures. So far, none of it was publicly accessible in a structured way.
So I started with a personal Excel sheet to organize the chaos. Four weeks later it became a full platform:
126 distinct programs across 31 industries
Verified salary data, ranging from 31,200€ to 78,000€
Daily tracked application portal status
No ads, no affiliate and no login required
Open to feedback, especially from anyone who's built data-heavy sites at scale.
Interesting build.
One thing I'd be careful with:
The interesting question may not be whether people use the database.
It may be what conclusion deserves confidence if they do.
Those sound similar, but they can lead to very different decisions about what gets expanded, monetized, and prioritized next.
I wouldn't make that call casually this early.
