Launched Glance — a single-viewport personal dashboard. Honest feedback wanted.

Hey IH,

After ~3 months of evenings and weekends, I'm launching Glance: a personal dashboard built around a single constraint — everything fits in one viewport, no scrolling.

Why I built it

I was switching between Calendar, Notion, Todoist, a habit-tracker app, a water-reminder, a Pomodoro tab, and lo-fi YouTube — and constantly losing focus during the switching. Wanted one URL with all of it visible at once. Not a notes/database tool (Notion does that better). An ambient, glance-able dashboard that sits open all day.

 The constraint that defines it

6 rows × 12 columns, no scrolling. If I have to scroll, I'm not "at a glance" anymore. This shapes every product decision — widget sizes, layouts, multi-dashboard support (for when one viewport isn't enough).

 What's in it now

 40+ widget types: time, weather, day-plan (drag-to-create time blocks), habit heatmap, pomodoro, subscription tracker, link library with folders, sticky notes with multiple tabs, lo-fi radio with a live audio spectrum, calculator, unit converter, etc. Multi-dashboard support so you can keep separate boards for daily life, work, and hobby, each with its own accent color.

Honest about being early

  - Web-only (PWA next, native mobile much later — biggest limit)

  - Solo founder, support depends on me

  - Onboarding is still rough in places

  - A few widgets hit free third-party APIs that could rate-limit if traffic spikes

  What I'd love feedback on

  1. What widget is missing for your daily use?

  2. Does the "no scrolling" constraint feel limiting or freeing once you try it?

  3. Where does it feel janky in the first 5 minutes?
