Hey Indie Hackers! 👋 I’m excited to share my latest project: ImageAT AI, a SaaS platform I built to help indie game developers create high-quality 3D assets with ease. As a solo founder and game dev enthusiast, I’ve faced the same struggles many of you might relate to—asset creation is time-consuming and expensive. So, I decided to build a solution, and here’s how it went!
What is ImageAT AI?
ImageAT AI is an AI-powered SaaS tool designed to streamline game asset creation. Instead of spending hours (or outsourcing at a high cost), indie devs can now generate characters, environments, and UI elements in seconds using simple text prompts. It’s built for small teams or solo creators who want to focus on gameplay and storytelling without getting bogged down by design work.
Features
AI-Powered Asset Generation: Create game characters, environments, items, and UI elements with text prompts.
Image-to-3D Conversion: Turn 2D images into ready-to-use 3D models.
Style Consistency: Customize style palettes for a cohesive game look.
Asset Management: Organize and filter assets in a user-friendly dashboard.
Generation History: Track and revisit your past creations.
Game Engine Integration: Export assets for Unity, Unreal, and more.
Flexible Plans: Starter, Pro, and Premium tiers to fit your budget.
Why I Built It?
Like many indie devs, I struggled with asset creation for my own projects. Hiring artists was out of my budget, and learning to design myself took too much time. I wanted a tool that’s affordable, scalable, and easy to use—so I built ImageAT AI. It’s been a rollercoaster of coding, testing, and refining, but seeing it help others is worth it!
What’s Next?
I’m still in the early stages and learning as I go. My next steps include improving the AI accuracy, adding more style options, and exploring partnerships with game dev communities. I’d love to hear your thoughts—has anyone else tackled a similar problem? Any advice for scaling a SaaS like this?
Let’s Connect!
If you’re an indie dev or SaaS maker, I’d love to chat! Drop your feedback below—what features would you want in a tool like this? Have you faced asset creation challenges too? Thanks for reading my story! 😊
