Launched in Beta! TimeCheck - an app for iMessage that compares the availability of everyone in a group chat to find times when all are free

Really excited to share that we've launched our beta test. To request an invite go to https://TimeCheck.us

Feedback from our beta testers will guide our next steps so now's the time to let us know what features/changes would help you!

TimeCheck is an iMessage extension that works inside the Messages App. Send a TimeCheck to a group chat and it will compare everyone’s availability and find times when all are free.

We built this to reduce all the texting back and forth to find a time for dinner, a meeting, sports, music - anything that tends to be hard to schedule.

We are grateful for any feedback on:

  • Your pain points when scheduling
  • The landing page: did you understand what the product does?
  • The beta app experience: did you find a time to meet? Was it easy to navigate?
  • Any experiences with the competition (Calendly, Doodle etc.)

Thanks for checking it out!

Did the landing page clearly communicate what the product does?
  1. Yes, I totally get it and I requested a beta test invite!
  2. I understand what it does but I don't think it will work for me.
  3. I don't understand what TimeCheck is.

This is awesome, I am in constant need of this. Ive thought about it within the context of planning group trips too (probably a broader use case but might be interesting to consider down the road).

One immediate question I had (without scrolling) — does it work with G Cal and IOS Cal?

Headline: I think you can simplify, you dont need "Use timecheck". Id say "Quickly find a time that works for everyone"

How it works: It might be helpful below the fold to have: Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 each with screenshots.

Favicon: Small thing but id load a Favicon in your tab. Just makes things feel more legit

    Looks great

Hey, I think the landing page and the idea are pretty clear. I love the video demonstration especially. There is a description at the bottom which I feel could be higher up. Also, although the idea is clear, I would like to know more about how availability is matched. Do you sync everyone’s Apple Calendar? Can you sync other calendars, like Google’s?

Personally, I don’t have a use case for this as I rarely use iMessages. Wasn’t ever aware I could create a group! I feel the extension could be useful, but it would need a well defined target customer. Is this for friends, is it for teams, is it for an activity club (e.g. book club)? For friends, I don’t think I would use it even if it was on a different messaging app.
