I am designing a web application that will be a Google Maps for finding outdoor basketball courts. I am setting up an early access mailing list for the web app and set up the landing page through MailChimp. Let me know if this is simple / informative enough?
Looking good
Hi @thecalebf,
I really like your website name.
I guess the tagline could be: Find outdoor basketball courts near you.
I would like the app to do a little more than just finding a basketball court, as suggested by @armgitaar
Okay, yes I should be a little more clear on what the product is! Additionally, I have a plan for other features such as incorporating community by enabling friends and bringing more of a social aspect as well as being able to like/dislike courts based on quality. However, for the MVP I just want to have the finding a basketball court and expand from there. I guess I can also outline more of what future features would like as well on the landing page?
I am intrigued. I am not really certain what the landing page represents other than something to do with basketball courts. Will I be able to schedule pickup games?? I've added more feedback to That App Show. 🏀
Thank you so much for the feedback. I see I really need to provide more information about what the software service provides and is. As for features I have a plan for building more of a social platform by enabling friends and bringing more of a social aspect as well as being able to like/dislike courts based on quality. However, for the MVP I just want to have the finding a basketball court and expand from there to ensure demand. I guess I can also outline more of what future features would like as well on the landing page?
Definitely - I understand the difference between current and desired state. Knowing a desired state does let me understand what something will become and encourages me more to follow along! 😃
