Launched "Likeness" — and how a simple $0,99 "Exit-Intent" bottom sheet saved my Day 0 Churn.

Hey everyone! I just launched Likeness, an AI face-swapping and portrait generation app focused on hyper-realism and group/couple photos.

Building the AI pipeline (using models like Flux, Nano banana) was a fun challenge, but my biggest hurdle was the monetization strategy. AI generation costs money, so I had to use a hard paywall. But I noticed a lot of users churning on Day 0 because they were scared of subscribing just to "try it out once."

The Solution: I built an exit-intent logic. When a user tries to close the subscription paywall, a bottom sheet pops up offering a one-time, non-expiring 100 Token pack for just $1.49, 300 Token pack for just $3.99.

It completely changed the game. It captures the "curiosity" users, secures the unit economics, and I even built a smart cooldown system so it doesn't cannibalize my main MRR (Weekly/Yearly subs).
