Launched my AI product - CrawlChat

Had taken a break after my first money making product from mid 2024 to early this year. I was just solving few personal stuff mean while. I wanted to get back with a good and interesting product that I would love crafting. Tried multiple ideas meanwhile but none stuck for a long time.

I was trying to build something in AI space with voice conversational AI and found how hard and tricky making a RAG application work with a decent results. So I started working on this idea to "crawl a website and chat with it".

Initially I just wanted to crawl a url & all the links in loop and chat with it. More from the consumer point of view but quickly I started focusing from the makers side and tweaked the motto to "deliver your documentation and content with AI" and I named it CrawlChat - https://crawlchat.app

In short it crawls your documentation or content from a URL and provides your a chat widget that you can embed on your website, a MCP server your community can use in apps like Cursor and Windsurf, and a Discord bot that answers you questions from your community. It doesn't hallucinate while answering and provides the sources it would fetch the answers.

It's been a month since I launched and acquired two customers so far - Remotion (https://remotion.dev) and Konvajs (https://konvajs.org) who integrated the chat, MCP server and also the Discord bot which takes it to $108MRR when I am writing this.

Love getting the feedback from the users and improving the product every day. Looking forward for more :)
