Hey guys, π
If you're tired of the tedious bug reporting process for websites and web applications, honestly you're not alone.
While platforms like Jira and Trello are great for tracking bugs, the only problem is the reporting part.
This is what a typical process looks like:
This entire process can be time-consuming and require a lot of tab-switching. That's why we decided to create our own bug tracking tool under ruttl.
With ruttl's widget, you can report issues on your website directly, just like Figma. The widget can be accessed from any browser, and when you comment on the issue, ruttl will capture the screenshot and add it directly to your Trello board. This streamlines the bug reporting process and saves you valuable time.
But what about mobile applications? Reporting bugs on mobile can be even more tedious, requiring you to take screenshots on your mobile device and transfer them to a desktop or use project management tools on your mobile device.
That's why we're excited to announce the launch of our first mobile application! Our app transfers issues directly to your project management tools like Jira, Trello, and Asana, making bug reporting on mobile devices quick and easy.
At the moment, the app is only available for Android devices, as iOS doesn't support floating icons. But we're working on solving this with plugins, so stay tuned!
Check it out here:
I'm also adding a video to show what the process is like - https://static.ruttl.com/ruttl-mobile-app-feedback-demo.mp4
Let me know what you all think. π
Looks interesting and useful, looking forward to trying it out.βπΌ
Hope you like it :)
