Last week I launched naistrip.com — an AI travel planner built with Angular, Firebase and Google Gemini.
Here are the real numbers:
- 5 upvotes on Product Hunt
- 2 comments with improvement suggestions
- First real users outside my personal network
The feedback I received:
- A "rainy day" toggle that swaps outdoor activities for indoor ones based on weather forecasts
- Offline access with map view for destinations with poor cell coverage
Both suggestions are genuinely good and go straight to the backlog.
What I learned: launching small is still launching. 5 upvotes felt modest but the quality of feedback from real travelers made it worth every hour of building.
What's next: growing quietly, iterating on feedback, and building something people actually want to use.
Thanks to everyone who checked it out 🙏
