Launched my first startup, WEBUTILS - a modular utility platform for developers - What are your thoughts?

Hi all,

Indie newbie here. After 15 years of developing websites and apps as an employee I have now quit my job to pursue the dream of becoming financially independent. Woohoo!!

My first project, WEBUTILS, is a modular utility platform for developers, agencies and content creators based on my experience in the industry jumping from job to job and noticing common patterns and requirements between companies.

With third party companies and SaaS providers becoming an ever increasing part of modern development it occurred to me that this could be taken one step further to provide tools to quickly and easily implement pieces of functionality commonly used across a number of different websites and applications further reducing development time and cost, and allowing smaller teams to get more done.

I have split these pieces of functionality into modules that are accessible through the WEBUTILS API. The first module I wanted to develop was a way to access public holidays programmatically having implemented this same functionality 3 times at different companies in the past, and having to keep the information up to date every year I figured there must be a better way.

I launched the site last week. It's very much at the MVP stage at the moment so I would love to hear your thoughts on the website (I'm not much of a front-end dev), the concept and any ideas for modules which you think could be useful for you and other devs alike.

Thank you for reading, and I wish you all the best of luck in your own projects!

Would you use WEBUTILS?

First impression is that I am not sure what you build from your landing page:

"A modular utility platform for developers, agencies and content creators to aid in the development of websites, apps and software"

I'm not sure what modular utility platform means. The closest thing my mind goes to is it sounds like a paid software library marketplace? If it's that, then definitely say it. But it could also be templates, a new framework, or something else. If your market is developers then developers will know these terms.

Hope that's helpful. Landing pages can go through a lot of iterations. Good luck!

Thanks for your feedback. I've had a lot of comments saying the same so I will certainly need to update this. Thanks again
