Yesterday I finally launched my macOS app [Imprint] on the App Store.
This morning I woke up and saw it had already climbed to #128 in the Photography & Video category.
Honestly, I built this tool just to solve my own pain — I often had to watermark hundreds of images manually, which was super slow and frustrating.
Manually adding watermarks one by one in Photoshop was eating hours of my time.
Online tools were either too slow, compressed the images, or required uploading to a server (not great for unreleased product shots).
Imprint is a simple on-device image privacy toolkit for macOS that:
Everything runs locally — no uploads, no servers.
I launched yesterday and was surprised to see it on the App Store charts this morning.
This might be my first tiny step toward validating the idea — maybe there’s a real demand for this kind of workflow.
I'd love feedback from other makers/photographers/sellers:
