🔥 Launched my very first SAAS BETA 🎉

This is quite a day, and for every indie developer out there, you know how big of a moment 'actually launching something' is!

Being a self-taught programmer, I have always dreamed of creating something and launching it, but so many times have I abandoned projects halfway through, only to start something else. If you're reading this, then chances are you've probably experienced something like that!

But this time, Nah, not this time!

After many many bugs, cups of coffee, and sleepless nights, I have launched my very first BETA out into the world, and I just can't wait to get feedback (both positive and negative!

This stuff is hard. If anybody could do it, everybody would! But to start from an idea, actually creating it, and showing it to the world, it's no joke! Super proud of how it came out 😊

Check it out, let me know what you think, and provide any feedback you might have! (If it works haha)

Thanks,

My feedback? I think you should scale down and focus on something first. As it is right now, it is really hard to determine what your app can do for me, and it's a lot of small granular things specialized in nothing in particular. That makes me think that you won't focus enough on the existing apis and there is a good chance that they won't get the attention they deserve.

For me, the most interesting api from there that I think has more potential than the others is the email validator and you could easily break into the b2b world where spam is an issue. The other APIs unfortunately feel like clutter (especially the web scraper one... I mean if I am capable of making a http request to your api, I am capable to do that one myself. This applies to link scraper and open graph scraper as well).

So, if I were you, I'd specialize in an area and offer only APIs targeted for that area, such as anti-spam features.

    Just my 2 cents.

The website and app look fantastic!

That's definitely a fair analysis and suggestion! Thank you for taking the time to analyze, really appreciate that! 😊

The primary focus of ApiStacks was my realization that to get access to two or more of these APIs required multiple subscriptions to multiple SAAS platforms, hence why the variety. Figured this would be a much more cost-effective option.

I do also totally get the idea to focus on a singular item, and that is indeed my plan for my next project :) Super glad you see some value in it!

    Great work!

    This certainly resonates with me:

Not sure what it is about creating a product, but at some point, fatigue hits you, boredom, or you think of something more interesting and abandon your project. Hard rut to get out of

Looks awesome, congrats! The website is super clean and clear. I really like the live demos.

Thank you! 😊 Still got a long way to go, but with software, it's never perfect!

Oh this looks awesome! Congrats on the beta launch, and the website is excellent. I'll definitely find a reason to take it for a spin.

    Nice work!

What did you use to design the site? love it.

Congrats! The landing page looks great and the product sounds interesting. I can definitely see the value in using it over single api product if it delivers similar performance.

How did you decide to build it? Do you have a target customer in mind or did you make it for yourself etc?

      Thanks! 😊

As for the reasoning behind it, the primary focus of ApiStacks was my realization that to get access to two or more of these APIs required multiple subscriptions to multiple SAAS platforms, hence why the variety. Figured this would be a much more cost-effective option for developers out there to have one singular platform to work with.

The target customer is most likely B2B platforms that have a use for this data but don't want to write all the backend and maintain their own servers. I also had a need for these APIs but having 4 different subscriptions to use them seemed inefficient and cost quickly adds up.

Congratulations on launching! Now... fingers crossed that you get your first customer soon!

Site looks good, and I love how the APIs are presented (response visible right away), good job! One nitpick: on homepage, clicking on title ("Email Validator") does nothing (javascript:void()?), I needed to click on "Try It". Also, I would expect image to be clickable too. But these are all minor points, it's probably best to focus on marketing now... :)

      Ah! Good catch!

Thanks for the feedback, Fixed it! 😊

Nice one! Tried the site -> pdf converter with my project 3cells.io and it seems like the svg button is not rendered in the pdf
