Launched Nullmark, got my first paying customer in 14 hours. Here is the transparent breakdown.

I am 20, building solo, zero budget. Here is what happened and what I learned.

What Nullmark does

It wraps any URL so that when someone clicks it from inside Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook, they get prompted to open it in their real browser instead of the in-app browser.

Why does that matter? In-app browsers are sandboxed. They break autofill, Apple Pay, Google Pay, saved passwords, and cookie tracking. The conversion rate difference between in-app sessions and real browser sessions is roughly 30 to 40 percent. Most people running social traffic have no idea this is silently eating their numbers because analytics still records the session. The visit shows up. The conversion does not.

The timeline

I vibe coded the first version over a weekend with Claude writing about 70 percent of the code while I steered and fixed hallucinations. Spent a few more days polishing the UX. Launched on Product Hunt. 14 hours later, first paying customer.

Pricing decision

I went with three tiers. A Basic plan (1 link, 500 visits/month) so people can test it with low risk. A Pro plan for unlimited links and visits with Meta/TikTok Pixel tracking. And a $30 lifetime deal that includes everything in Pro forever.

I picked $30 for the lifetime tier for a specific reason: it is small enough that someone will try it without doing ROI math first, but big enough that paying for it signals the problem is real to them. If someone hands over $30 for a tool they found 14 hours ago, I know the pain point exists.

What I still do not know

Whether the people who need this (social media marketers, Shopify sellers running TikTok ads, newsletter operators with link-in-bio) actually search for this problem, or whether I have to explain it to them first. If they search for it, distribution is straightforward. If I have to educate them first, this becomes a much longer game.

What I am doing with zero budget

Writing educational content explaining the in-app browser problem in detail, posting in communities where people discuss conversion optimization, and reaching out directly to Shopify store owners who run social media ads. No cold email yet. No paid ads. Just finding where the problem-aware people hang out and getting in front of them.

I would love brutal feedback on the product, the positioning, or the acquisition strategy. If you run social media traffic to any kind of landing page, checkout, or signup flow, try it at nullmark.tech and tell me what breaks.
