Launched our first full app under Vibeship — turning AI prototypes into polished real-world products 🚀

Last month, I challenged myself to build a complete mobile app solo — from idea to App Store launch — using LLMs + Flutter + a little stubbornness.

Today, it’s live on iOS. 🚀 - https://go.vibeship.ai/ios-app

Quick highlights:

  • Built the frontend in Flutter (first project with it)

  • Used Supabase for authentication and database

  • Separate Node.js + WebSocket backend for real-time 1v1 matchmaking

  • Full social login (Google, Apple), analytics, error handling wired up

  • App focuses on tactical chess puzzles (Mate in 1)

Heavily leaned on LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to move fast — not just for coding help but for small architectural decisions, UI iterations, and unblocking bugs.

👉 Total time to launch: less than a month.

Why it matters for Vibeship:
Vibeship isn't just a service — we're proving how AI + product thinking can create production-ready, scalable apps, not just demos.

We help founders turn AI-generated code or prototype ideas into real products that users can actually love — and this app is the first internal example of what that looks like.

Android version is also ready, just waiting on Google's 14-day review process. 😅

If you’re building today — LLMs + smart frameworks like Flutter are a crazy good combo if you push through the chaos.

Happy to chat if anyone wants to nerd out on details!

Congrats on the launch, Keyur huge milestone! 🚀 Once the Android version is out too, what’s the plan from there? Are you looking to grow the user base, iterate with new features, or move on to the next Vibeship experiment? Curious how you see this fitting into the broader roadmap.

Thanks a ton! 🙏 Appreciate it — shipping it solo felt like a marathon sprint, but totally worth it.

Right after the Android release, the plan is to:

      • Grow the user base a bit organically (Reddit, Discord, Twitter)

      • Add lightweight progression (daily streaks, profile stats, maybe puzzle ranks)

      • Keep refining the real-time 1v1 experience based on early usage

Bigger picture: VibeChess is the first vibe-coded product from Vibeship — our way of proving that you can take LLM-assisted prototypes and ship polished, real-world apps, fast.

So yes — more features for VibeChess, but also more experiments in the pipeline.
Trying to keep the energy between build mode and feedback mode always flowing ⚡

    Congrats on launching VibeShip! 🚀

I really like the focus on encouraging real-world connections — feels refreshing compared to endless online-only apps.

Curious: are you planning to add features like “trust circles” or “verified groups” to make in-person meetups feel safer?

Good luck with the next milestones! 🚀🎯

Thanks for reading! 🙌 Curious to hear — has anyone else tried using LLMs seriously to ship a real product, not just prototypes? Would love to hear experiences.
