Launched Skimrr, a tool that finds duplicate and blurry photos (nothing else)

Built this originally for myself after one too many trips coming home to a

photo folder full of duplicates and blurry shots I never bothered sorting.

Tried digiKam first since it's the go-to free option, but it's a full photo

management system, tags, faces, albums, way more than I needed. I just wanted

something that finds the duplicates and the blurry photos and gets out of the

way.

So that's what Skimrr does. Two things:

- Finds duplicate photos (exact matches via file hashing, near-duplicates via

perceptual hashing, catches the same shot resaved or recompressed too)

- Finds blurry photos (sharpness scoring, adjustable threshold)

Everything runs locally. No account, no cloud upload, nothing leaves your

computer.

Runs on Mac and Windows, one-time purchase, no subscription (felt weird

charging monthly for something people might open twice a year).

Still early, would genuinely love feedback from anyone who tries it. Happy to

send free keys to a few people willing to test and give honest thoughts on

what's missing or broken.
