Launched StandupWizard on PH
Hey everyone, the day has finally come where I launched StandupWizard on Product Hunt.
The product itself was soft-launched a couple months ago and I have done some iteration based on feedback from users so I felt it was finally in a good spot to have a more concrete launch.
Would love to hear your thoughts!
Ah this is interesting, we usually do a really poor version of this by just using slack threads that auto-ping people every day at a certain time. I've also been on teams that primarily do their standups via videos. Seems like the target for this is upper management peeps since I feel like our current slack thread provides enough visibility for me, but trying to keep track of stand up threads from previous days/months is an absolute pain and maybe would be a big enough pain point for management to look for alternatives?
Exactly! I've actually done both of those in the past as well, so the goal with this is to find some sort of middle ground between those options. Reduce potentially unnecessary meetings and also still be able to keep everyone on the team synced up (by automatically broadcasting results to a central channel).
Speaking to a couple customers it looks like they've mandated it across teams for the reason you mentioned, it allows management to easily check what's going on and see / filter on historical reporting too.
