Launched Sudorush: my first Game!

I had this game idea for a while, and finally I found the right tools (and time) to build it!

https://sudorush.app

It’s still very early, and there are many things to fix and many features to add. But I hope this is the right place to talk about it and get some feedback from like-minded folks trying to build cool products!

==== DESCRIPTION ====

Sudorush revolutionizes the traditional Sudoku experience with lightning-fast gameplay focused on quick thinking and pattern recognition. Rather than solving entire puzzles from scratch, players race against the clock to complete nearly-finished Sudoku grids, creating an addictive, adrenaline-pumping experience that can be enjoyed in short bursts or extended sessions.

Core Gameplay:

  • Face a series of nearly-completed Sudoku puzzles with strategically placed gaps
  • In the initial version, each puzzle has just ONE empty cell to fill
  • Spot the correct number and tap it from the number pad at the bottom
  • Instant feedback: correct answers immediately advance you to the next puzzle
  • Watch your score climb as you complete puzzles in rapid succession
  • Beat your personal records and compete on global leaderboards

Sudorush takes the familiar comfort of Sudoku and transforms it into an exciting, fast-paced challenge that tests both speed and accuracy. By focusing on the "final move" of each puzzle, it creates a fresh experience that both casual players and Sudoku enthusiasts will find addictive and rewarding.

This is brilliant, Horacio! I love how you’ve taken the depth of Sudoku and made it fast-paced and addictive. The “one-cell” mechanic is such a smart move, super mobile-friendly and mentally stimulating without being overwhelming.
I’d love to know, how are you currently collecting feedback from early users? Have you thought about building a mini Discord or community around it?
Congrats on launching! Definitely rooting for Sudorush

      Hey thanks!

No I have not thought about creating a discord server. I joined a Sudoku discord and announced the game there and plan to become a bit more active there.

      Thanks for the feedback!

What a great idea - take classic Sudoku and turn it into a sprint! This format really invigorates, especially with one empty cell - it's like the final blow in a puzzle. I really liked that everything is fast, with feedback and reaction. Perfect for short sessions during the day. Made with soul, enjoyable to play. Good luck in developing!
