Launched today, feeling proud!

I finally did it! After one year of working on my UX research tool Qanda I have now deployed my product to the world.

It's been a full year in the making, and it is far from finished, but hell this feels good. Thanks to everyone giving me help here - this community is amazing.

You can check it out here. As always, any feedback is welcome:

Thank you! Now let's see if it will take off. Any tips for marketing strategies? I am in the dark on where to move from here

        "Go where your customers are".

        Here are some starter suggestions.

Firstly, ensure you have a very clear idea of your ideal customer.

Then, find which online platforms or groups you think your ideal customers may be members of. For example, try joining these two groups:

        https://www.linkedin.com/company/ux-research-and-strategy-group/
        https://www.reddit.com/r/UXResearch/

You could also try following these people on Twitter (the list is slightly out of date):

        https://www.opinionx.co/blog/21-user-researchers-you-need-to-follow-on-twitter-in-2021

In those groups, read posts, comment on them, listen to what people are discussing, make your own contributions, and suggest points people may find useful - but don't pitch. Pitching too early makes people feel uncomfortable. Try to build connections and relationships.

At the same time, create some valuable content for your website. Add a blog/articles feature and write about what you know about. Post the same/similar content on LinkedIn and Twitter. Write your posts for people, not for search engine algorithms, but be sure to write about topics that people are actually searching for online in your area of expertise. If you're not sure how many people are searching for your chosen words, try this free tool: https://www.wordstream.com/keywords

Marketing takes a long time - it's not like building (I found that out the hard way). You should review your progress regularly, but not too frequently and decide when other marketing channels (there are many) may be better for you.

You could also list your product on software directory sites like G2 or Gartner.

        Good luck :-)

These are some amazing points, thank you. I am now thinking about reaching out and trying to build more content for my blog. Maybe I'll reach out in my network to see if we can co-author some blog posts. Thank you!
