Launching 1.0 today πŸš€ seeking feedback

Hey everyone ✌️

I'm launching a book recommendations project today πŸ“š

https://www.producthunt.com/posts/good-books

I'd love to get feedback from you guys. Who would you love to see on this site? Is the design too ambitious?

πŸ“š Good Books is a curated collection of book recommendations from some of the most successful, influential and interesting people around the world.

This project started about 6-months ago when I started to keep track of all the books that I wanted to read and who recommended them. I then got (a little) obsessed with the project and ended up accumulating over 15,000 book recommendations from about 1,250 people...

I built Good Books to share these book recommendations with the world, organising them into simple categories and industries so it's easy to find your next read.

If you find this resource helpful, please consider upvoting on Product Hunt πŸ™‚

Great job with your launch today, lots of things I can learn from it to avoid another failure of mine.

Regarding the product itself, I had to save it immediately in my bookmarks folder for reading resources πŸ™Œ Now I just need to figure out when to read all those amazing books!

Thanks legend! It was a bit unnerving when I wasn't even in top 5, but currently in #2.

      Appreciate the support!

The best-curated resource for finding your next read, and beautifully designed. What more do you want!

This is awesome!! Congrats on the Product Hunt success, seriously impressive and well deserved. I'm curious - how did you accumulate the recommendations? Was it a manual process or did you have a system to find the recommendations?

Hey Seth! Thanks for the support. I automated as much as I could but there's still a lot of manual work. The actual website build only took about 10% of the time πŸ˜…
