Launching a virtual incubator for remote founders
Here's a bit of context: I’ve launched and worked at a top incubator for more than a year and helping founders and people in general is something that I LOVE. I've helped founders to find their first clients as well as raising up to 4M$.
But I noticed that a lot of founders are lonely and cannot afford to live in a big city where they could find an incubator or a place where they would connect and share with other founders.
I think this is unfair because it shouldn’t be reserved to the lucky ones living in capital cities.
Also, it turns out that I have a lot of perks and coupons ($1,000 free credits for Notion, $10,000 for AWS, $4,000 for MongoDB…) that I gathered for months and would help a lot of founders spending less money.
I was thinking about launching a private community (so that we all know each other) for $10 a month (that I would reinvest entirely to better help founders with events & tools) where we would all work, build and share together.

It is an excellent idea Louis. What other sides of your incubator idea have worked on? How to fund it, what it is the training period/content, etc.
Hey Takis, regarding the incubator I worked at? Or the virtual one I'm working on?
Basically, the one I worked at was funded by a billionaire, so I didn't have to worry too much on the financial side lol
For the one I'm working on, basically it will be funded by the users (for waaaay less than the cost of a "physical" incubator. ($10/month vs $300+/month)
Regarding the training period, I don't want an incubator like YC for instance, where you train for 3 months and then go in the wild. Here you can stay as long as you want and as long as you need. From my experience, some founders only need training for 2 weeks and then stay way longer for the experience, the network, the place...
With the incubator I plan to launch, since we are all going to be remote, finding timezones for events will be complicated at the beginning (since there probably won't be enough people in a specific timezone to make an event). So we will focus on peer-learning: learning from the other founders, supporting & helping each other along the way.
