Launching Gumroad advance analytics!

Hi guys!

✨I'm excited to share with you my new creation! ✨
A platform to get advance analytics for Gumroad creators! 👇

https://fullstats.io

Just launched on product hunt too!
https://www.producthunt.com/posts/fullstats

Why did I build fullStats?

While working as a web developer I created an open source project (fullPage.js) that 3 years later allowed me to quite my full-time job and became a "little free bird", or what others call it "an entrepreneur".

I started using the Gumroad platform to sell my products (fullpage.js extensions and licenses) and I quickly realised I wasn't able to get all the information I wanted from Gumroad basic analytics.

I wanted to know about variants of a single product, about the impact of translating my site to certain languages, my top selling products, the results of a Black Friday campaign, what price should I use for my bundles... and many more.

I tried to get the information I needed from Gumroad by doing some black magic or by using their CSV stylesheet and trying to do some "queries" on it, but it wasn't enough. It was tedious, manual, and quite basic.

I then decided to build something on the side for my own private use so I could try to maximise my profit, minimise my efforts and understand both my products and my clients better.

Talking with other Gumroad creators I soon realised there was a demand for this so I decided to push it a bit further, improve it even more and launch it as a product to see if this can help others too.

Why fullStats?

Things that you can do are:

👉 Use filters (Country | Product | Variant)
👉 Combine filters in endless ways (UK purchases for X product and X variant)
👉 Combine filtered information (show me info for this 3 products together)
👉 Get detailed information per product and filter
👉 Inspect Refunds
👉 Inspect Affiliate sales
👉 See Gumroad fees
👉 Add marks (for example, "Increased price the 2nd of January 2020)
👉 See the top Products | Countries | Variants | Offer Codes | Refunded products...
👉 Get analytics grouped by Day of the week | day of the month | hour of day | month
👉 Get payment information (Paypal, Card...)
👉 Average purchases per customer
👉 Average spend per customer

Coming soon:
👉 Compare dates
👉 Cancellations information
👉 Churn
👉 Average refunds per customer
👉 Show offer codes purchases / income in chart

Do I have to pay?

It is fully free for those who make less than $300/month with Gumroad.
And for the rest, it is quite affordable. Based on MRR too:

more than $300 MRR → $2.5/month(annually) or $2.99/month (monthly)
more than $1K MRR → $4.16/month(annually) or $4.99/month (monthly)
more than 10K MRR → $12.5/month(annually) or $14.99/month (monthly)
more than 50K MRR → $82.5/month(annually) or $99/month (monthly)

Any demo I can see ?

Sure!

How does it link with Gumroad?

At the moment you can:

  • Sync with Gumroad so any future purchases/refunds/cancellations will be added to the system automatically.
  • Import data from a CSV file you get on Gumroad👇✨

Questions ? Feedback?

The project is in its very early stages, so if you miss anything or have any feedback (specially bad), please feel free to share it! 🙏

I’ve been playing around with making something like this for a while. I use Gumroad for a subscription product and have a google sheet calculating the retention/churn rates, ltv, etc.

I’m glad to see you’ve whipped something up. I’ll be subscribing if/when it has more info for subscription products. Good job 👍

Sure! I haven't really touched much subscriptions basically because my products were all one time sales :)

But I'll for sure put more time on subscriptions based stats!
Thanks for your feedback Herman! 🙏
