Launching Hireddit
Hey everyone,
Despite its anonymity and potential for spam, I noticed many people posting job and internship opportunities on Reddit. Curious, I spoke to job seekers there, who shared that they prefer Reddit because traditional platforms are oversaturated, conversations feel more authentic, and they’ve learned to spot fake posts.
With that insight, I decided to create Hireddit — a dedicated Reddit Job Board.
Hireddit aggregates job posts from subreddits like r/forhire, r/remotework, r/INAT.
Each job-post is categorized, searchable, and linked back to the original source, so you can easily see the full details and discussions.
You can search by subreddit, job title, city, country
You can apply multi-keyword search using comma, e.g. search “python, java”.
Note: We use logical OR on searchYou can search within specific subreddits by using filter, e.g. search “remote” in r/ai_ml_jobs, r/azuredevops, r/bigdatajobs, and r/dataengineeringjobs

I'm writing Hireddit Newsletter: weekly job updates + trends and analysis of job posts. Perhaps, I can lean towards ads + featured posts, charging companies.
I came across a website (can't recall the name) that writes comprehensive reports on specific subreddits for startup ideas. It's a free newsletter, but you have to pay if you want to access the archives. I think there's definitely some space for trends + analysis for Reddit Jobs

Hey, I just wanted to say that your idea sounds pretty cool. However, as I have used r/forhire before, many jobs are taken almost instantly. Thus, I suggest adding the number of comments in the search results.
Subreddits like r/forhire and r/hiring are very popular. However, numerous active niche subreddits also post job opportunities. I've listed +100 subreddits (manually checked each sub).
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll consider adding them. But, do you think I need to refresh the comment/like counter for previous posts everytime I add new posts?
