Launching Jobven v0.1: Fresh job data collected directly from employers

I just pushed out the first public version of Jobven, a job data API that collects fresh job postings directly from employer websites.

This is still very early, but the core pipeline is live and working, so I figured it was time to share.

What I’m Building

Jobven monitors employer career pages and extracts live job postings straight from the source.
No job boards.
No repost chains.
No aggregator-of-aggregators loops.

Everything comes from employer-published career pages.

Right now, Jobven has:

• 10,000+ job postings indexed

• across 150 employer websites

• updating continuously throughout the day

It is early, but it is real and improving every day.

Why I’m Building This

I run MapleStack, a Canadian job platform, and it became obvious that reliable job data is hard to get without building the infrastructure yourself.

Scraped job boards = stale.
Third-party APIs = inconsistent.
Repost networks = messy.

Indexing employer websites directly ended up being the only trustworthy source of truth.

At some point, I realized:
“If I need this, other job boards, recruiters, and data tools probably need it too.”

So Jobven became its own thing.

What the API Does Right Now

• Fresh job postings collected from employer career pages

• Structured fields (title, type, location, salary when available, etc.)

• Enriched metadata like skills and experience

• Cursor-based pagination

• Full text search across titles, descriptions, and skills
