Launching LusterBook — weather-aware booking for mobile detailers

I'm building LusterBook, a booking and client-management system for mobile auto detailers with a weather engine at its center.

A mobile detailer's worst enemy is the sky. Humidity wrecks a ceramic coating cure. An over-cautious reschedule kills a day that would have been fine. A job that should never have run comes back as a warranty claim. On top of that, booking one client can take ~14 back-and-forth texts, and deposits get chased over Venmo or skipped.

LusterBook scores every booking against the real forecast using per-service thresholds — a wash books in weather a ceramic coating shouldn't — and alerts you before a confirmed job drifts into high risk. Clients self-book on your public page, deposits land in your own Stripe account (Stripe Connect, so I never hold your money), and confirmations and reminders send themselves.

The weather call is deterministic on purpose: thresholds and forecast math, not an AI guessing. A go/no-go on a $600 coating needs to be explainable.
