Launching Mooring — real mailboxes on a domain you own (free while early)

I just put Mooring on Indie Hackers.

What it is: IMAP/SMTP mailboxes on a domain you already own — not forwarding,

not Google Workspace. Webmail, Outlook, iPhone. CalDAV/CardDAV too.

Why: most “custom domain email” is either forwarding or a per-seat bill.

I wanted a simple berth: point DNS, make a mailbox, open it in normal apps.

Status: live at https://mooring.email

Signup is open. Default is 1 domain / 1 mailbox. Free while I’m early.

I’m looking for a few domain owners to berth and tell me where setup hurts

(DNS and phone Mail especially). Happy to help if you get stuck.
