Launching my first product — Eclos io (AI-powered portfolio builder) 🚀 Any launch tips?

Hey IH friends 👋

I’m Sebastien — a bootcamp grad turned solo founder — and tomorrow I’m launching my first-ever product on Product Hunt:
🦋 Eclos.io — an AI-powered portfolio builder for job seekers, freelancers, and creatives.

First of all congrats for that! 👏 Second, I'm not an expert entrepreneur (just workingon my own idea), BUT... Maybe try and promote the platform on LinkedIn as much as you can? Because LinkedIn and you product would connect really well, I think. You can also cold outreach to different people and shoot them a DM telling about your product. I was approached the same way by a co founder matching platform's founder. Just telling you things from my perspective! 😅

Great Suggestion, Thank you - I surely need to get the appropriate work done in order to get the best out of it@

Big congrats, Sebastien! Eclos looks so cool and timely—you clearly understand your users.

Quick launch tip from someone who helps founders prep behind the scenes: don’t just post about the product—create micro-content around the problem it solves.

Example: Break down common “bad portfolio” mistakes or do a short thread on how different roles (designers vs devs vs marketers) should present work. People don’t always know they need your product until you show them what “not using it” looks like.

If you need someone to brainstorm or ghost-assemble content like that, that’s literally my zone. Happy to help—DMs open.

Hey Sebastien, congrats on launching Eclos io! An AI portfolio builder sounds really interesting.

I'm no launch expert, but here's something that might be useful: try to share portfolio tips on LinkedIn before the launch. And when people comment, ask about their portfolio struggles, to improve and iterate.

Hope that helps! And congrats again! 😊

That’s a solid idea—especially the part about asking people what they struggle with. The gold is always in the replies.

Hey Sebastien — congrats on the upcoming launch, this looks super polished!

I'm also launching my first product on Product Hunt tomorrow — it's called CandycornDB, a real-time IP risk scoring API to help fraud and security teams detect VPNs, proxies, and abusive network traffic.

Totally understand the nerves leading up to launch day. One thing I’ve learned prepping mine is how important it is to engage fast — respond to every comment, post updates on socials throughout the day, and don’t be afraid to ask for feedback (not upvotes).

Wishing you a smooth launch and lots of traffic! I’ll be checking out Eclos tomorrow for sure!

Hey Sebastien — love the concept, and big congrats on launching your first product! 🚀

As someone who also recently launched my first indie product, I know how huge this moment is. I built QuickStartCommerce, a starter kit for devs to launch eCommerce projects faster — and I’ve learned so much from just talking to early users and going through the Product Hunt/Indie Hackers loop.

Your niche (job seekers & creatives) is super smart — and the AI + portfolio angle feels like the right mix of value + wow factor. I’ll be cheering you on during your PH launch!

Let us know how it goes — would love to hear lessons learned after launch ✌️
